The tough-tacking 18-year-old Josh made his Football League debut against Bradford City in September 2007. He is on loan from Charlton Athletic where he is highly thought of by Alan Pardew. He is an England Youth international and was a reserve team regular at The Valley. He quickly made a favourable impression on Bees fans with his commitment and calm authority on the ball in the heart of the midfield. Manager Paul Fairclough has said that as a player on loan his approach has been exemplary. Barnet have extended his loan period for a second month as he has continued to impress in the centre of midfield.
