Nicky is a former Arsenal youngster who signed for Barnet in July 2006 after impressing on trial. The 5ft 8ins tall Nicolau signed professional terms at Highbury, but made his senior debut when he moved to Southend United on loan in March 2004, then joining them permanently and making 31 appearances in all and nine as a substitute, scoring two goals. In 2005 he moved to Swindon Town before enjoying a loan spell with Hereford United. A skillful left back who likes to get forward. Nicky has played well this season and can be relied upon to produce a high grade performance whatever position he is asked to fill, be it left back or left sided midfield.
