Another bad day for the Bees as Accrington Stanley hit 4 goals. But for Scott Tynan it could have been a lot worse. A string of svaes kept the score down.
Stanley, on the back of 5 wins on the trot, simply ran the Bees ragged.
It was Barnet that started the better with Simon King putting a header over in the first minute.
The home side took the lead in the 12th minute after Ismail Yakabu lost possession to McEvilly who's shot went in under Tynan from a narrow angle.
Three great saves from Tynan kept the hosts down to one goal at half time.
The second haf continued with Accrington pressing forward for a second. Prendergast shot wide after been put through in the 54th minute. Dean Sinclair cleared off the Barnet line.
The home side extended the lead in the 55th minute with a Prendergast volley and things were starting to look ominous.
It was a half of few chances for the Bees. Hatch forced the home keeper into a fine save in the 71st minute with his header been tipped onto the bar.
A quick two goals from McEvilly and Craney in the 84th and 85tn minutes finished the game for the Bees.
Grazioli grabbed scant consolation at the end poking in a Lee Roach cross.
Other than a superb display from Scott Tynan in the Bees goal, there is little that can be taken from this game.
The Bees have shown over the course of this season that they are the best team in the Conference by a country mile. Now is the time for everyone to pull together for one last push. Barnet still have a very healthy 13 point lead at the top of the table. With only 12 games to go. Their destiny is very much in their own hands. And as somebody once said "Destiny will always take over".
COME ON YOU BEES!
