CENTRAL EAST TERRACE OPEN
Posted on: Fri 22 Aug 2008
The Central East Terrace will be open from this Saturday's London Derby game against Brentford... with extra stewards in place for both home and away fans,
Barnet FC announced this today after a Monday evening meeting at Underhill between chairman Tony Kleanthous, Peter Williamson, chairman of Barnet FC Supporters Association, and four of his committee members.
A three-hour discussion centred on ways of improving segregation and crowd control at Underhill and both the club and supporters are to work together to find a way of obviating any possible coin throwing incidents with netting or a Perspex barrier.
The club also announced today that supporters ejected from Underhill would be banned from attending two to five matches. A second ejection would lead to a permanent ban.
Agreement was further reached that regular meetings would take place between Mr Kleanthous and BFCSA to continue the good relationship of Keith Doe's time as the supporters' chairman and now Mr Williamson's tenure.
