BISHOP ON HIS FUTURE
Posted on: Thu 10 Jul 2008
Neal Bishop has moved to clarify his future.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who made 47 appearances last season after arriving from York City, is back in training with the Bees this week after suggestion that he wanted a club near his home in the North East.
He told www.barnetfc.com today: "I am happy here and am concentrating on this season with Barnet.
"As far as I am concerned I am staying until someone tells me different".
The former England C international suggested at the end of last season that he might want to consider his options after rumours of interest from Northern clubs.
One League 2 club - not in the North East, contacted Barnet, but their approach was rejected.
