Josh Wright, Barnet's Young Player of the Year while on loan from Charlton Athletic last season, says that his time at Underhill was "invaluable" to his progress.

The England U19 midfield player, hoping to break into Charlton's Championship side next season, tells his club's website:" Before I went to Barnet Alan Pardew told me he wanted me to go there as a boy and come back as a man. I think I have.

"If I'd stayed at Charlton I might have got a chance but I've more than 30 games under my belt now with Barnet and that's invaluable.

"You can't buy that sort of experience".

Josh celebrated his 18th birthday while at Underhill and was a popular figure. Bees' supporters will watch his progress with interest.
