Striker Giuliano Grazioli and central defender Sagi Burton have both been released from their contracts, Barnet FC announced today.

The popular 33-year-old Graz scored 29 goals for the Bees in their championship winning year and was voted the Nationwide Conference Player of the Year and also won the Golden Boot award.

He scored 55 goals in 82 appearances in his first two seasons at Underhill after joining the Bees on a free transfer from Bristol Rovers in 2003 after Junior Agogo had made the journey the other way in a £110,000 deal.

Grazioli, twice Barnet's Player of the Year, has been restricted to 10 goals in the past three seasons. He went on loan to AFC Wimbledon earlier last season, was later transfer listed and rejected a loan move to Grays Athletic to stay close to his wife before the imminent births of their twins.

Although he only made three starts last season - 12 more appearances as a substitute - Grazioli got a hero's reception when he came off the bench against Stockport County in the final home game of the season.

Burton joined the Bees from Shrewsbury Town in 2007 and made 32 appearances, scoring one goal. He deputised as captain when Ismail Yakubu was injured.

Barnet FC wish Graz and Sagi all the best for the future.
