FCBFCSA Play Barnet Staff XI
Posted on: Thu 08 May 2008
Paul Fairclough abandons the dugout on Sunday to show his footballing skills to an Underhill audience when he plays for the Barnet Staff X1 against the FCBFCSA side.
I asked Paul where he would be playing. "Don't know yet", he admitted. "Just say that I'm a midfield dynamo".
We've been plugging bargain price season tickets for the past two weeks ... here's another offer you surely can't refuse. Admission is FREE for the last match of the season on the hallowed turf. Kick-off is at 3 p.m.
Barnet legend Gary Phillips will be playing for the staff eleven. So will former Birmingham left back Martin Brazier, who works in the Barnet in the Community team.
There's the BBC London team of Barry Swain and sidekick Karl Bates ... not to mention joint kit man Rob Whipple. Assistant manager Ian Hendon will be having a late fitness test
Chairman Tony Kleanthous has given permission for the match to be staged at Underhill. All supporters will be welcome. You don't have to text Barry Swain or Karl tomorrow. You can just shout out what you think!
