MATCH FOR ALBERT
Posted on: Wed 30 Apr 2008
Barnet FC are to play a pre-season friendly against Ryman League Harrow Borough at the Earlsmead Stadium on Wednesday, July 30, at 7.45 p.m.
The game is part of the arrangement that brought Adomah to Underhill in the January transfer window for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old six-footer played 99 games for Borough and scored eight goals for them in the first half of this season. He regards Zinedine Zidane as a role model.
Borough manager David Howell, a former Barnet defender, was instrumental in Adomah signing for his old club - the Bees pipping Dagenham and Redbridge to his signature.
Manager Paul Fairclough said at the time: "We have great hopes and expectations and it will be interesting to see him develop with us".
Albert has become a fans' favourite in his 20 games with the Bees - scoring five goals - and has attracted interest from Premiership and Championship clubs.
Other pre-season games to be played at Underhill already confirmed:-
July 19 v Arsenal
July 26 v Leeds United
August 2 v Watford
