ADOMAH OFFERS REJECTED

Barnet FC have rejected two offers from Championship clubs for 20-year-old Albert Adomah, the exciting winger signed from Harrow Borough in January.
In addition, the club has received several enquiries for the youngster, who has scored five goals in 19 games since making the step-up from the Ryman League to Coca-Cola League 2 only three months ago.
Neither Championship side wanted their offers publicised and Barnet FC are respecting their wishes by not naming them or the size of their bids.
Both chairman Tony Kleanthous and manager Paul Fairclough, who says that Adomah has "a future and a half", have made it clear to enquirers and to supporters that Barnet do not have to sell. The point was underlined in the January transfer window when an offer from Leeds United for Jason Puncheon was turned down.
Despite recent unwelcome and incorrect rumours, Barnet FC is financially viable and the aim is to keep the team together for a challenge for promotion next season.
At Rochdale in midweek John Salako reported on Sky Sports News that there were 30 scouts at Spotland watching the game. Fairclough, responding to a recent question about the number of scouts flocking to Underhill this year, went on record recently as saying: "If there is a more exciting player in the League than Albert then show him to me".
While insisting that the Bees do not have to sell, both chairman and manager have said that if there is an offer that the club cannot refuse, and if it is of benefit to them and to the player, then Barnet would not stand in his way.
The response to the offer to get season tickets at vastly reduced prices if they are purchased before the end of May has been positive and the chairman is urging supporters to take advantage so that the club can push for a break-even 3,000 attendance. The immediate target is for 1,000 season ticket holders; this, in turn, would show support for the ambition of the club in resisting offers for star players and would also help reduce queuing and make life easier at the turnstiles.
