JOSH WRIGHT BACK IN TRAINING
Posted on: Mon 14 Apr 2008
Josh Wright, who missed the drawn away games against Mansfield Town and Bradford City because he was unwell, was back in training on Thursday and should be fit to return in the Coca-Cola League 2 home game against Bury.
The 18-year-old on-loan Charlton Athletic and England U19 midfielder has established himself in Paul Fairclough's line - ups this season with 30 appearances and, with the Bees' place in League 2 assured for next season, could revert to a more forward role than in recent games.
None of the other three casualties will be available this weekend. Skipper Ismail Yakubu, who returns to see a consultant next week for a check on his groin problems, is rated a possibility to return in the away game at Accrington Stanley on Saturday week, as is French left back Kenny Gillet (left groin). Goalkeeper Rob Beckwith has a hamstring injury and no date has been put on his hoped for return.
Danny Hart has had his loan period with Wivenhoe Town extended beyond the last game this Saturday, but Paul Fairclough has asked for a return clause if he is needed later on.
