Assistant manager Ian Hendon was on crutches at the weekend after collecting an ankle ligament injury when tackled by Stephane Seanla at the training ground
Ironically, Hendon was trying to prove his fitness to manager Paul Fairclough for a place in the squad in case skipper Ismail Yakubu had to miss the Wrexham game with a hip muscle injury.
