BISHOP MAY RETURN
Posted on: Sun 23 Mar 2008
Barnet are hoping that 26-year-old midfielder Neal Bishop will be fit to return to the side for the Easter Monday visit to Macclesfield Town.
Bishop missed the home game against Lincoln City after reporting unwell and sick at Underhill with a painful cut tooth. He was examined by he club doctor and left the ground before the game to get treatment.
Cliff Akurang, out for weeks with a hamstring injury, and skipper Ismail Yakubu (hip muscle) will again miss out.
Assistant manager Ian Hendon is likely to be on the bench as manager Paul Fairclough prepares to gamble again without a goalkeeper on the substitute's bench in the continued absence of Rob Beckwith with a hamstring problem.
Hendon has played in every position in his League career except up front .... or in goal.
