Cliff Akurang, who made such a favourable impression when making his Barnet debut on New Years Day at Wycombe Wanderers, reveals how it is that he is not cup tied and is eligible to play at Swindon Town this Saturday in The FA Cup 3rd Round tie.

"I missed Histon's two FA Cup matches through suspension. I had got myself sent off and the three match ban covered both ties. Naturally I was disappointed at the time, but the silver lining is that I am now eligible to play."

"When I was at Thurrock a few years back we drew with Luton Town in the Cup at our place and took them back to Kenilworth Road. In the replay I scored that night probably the best goal of my career, I took the ball all the way from deep in my own half," Cliff recalled with a grin.

As for County Ground cup tie he says, "Like all the lads I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. It was a big game for me last week at Wycombe and the 3rd Round of the Cup at the County Ground is even bigger. I don't know really what to expect other than I'm excited by the prospect".
