Bees Sign Seven Young Players As Cover
Danny Hart, the 18-year-old winger from Mays Lane, Barnet, and six PROTEC youngsters, signed as cover for Barnet on Thursday afternoon in a late pre-season flurry of activity.
Hart, who played for the Boreham Wood first team last season said "It's like a bit of a dream to be joining my local team"
Hart has figured as a subsitute in some of Barnet's Pre-Season friendly games and got his name on the scoresheet with a fine goal in the 4-0 victory away to Histon last Saturday.
Two of the PROTEC youngsters made their Barnet debuts in the Herts Senior Cup last season. The 6'1 defender Daniel Awolesi, 18, who played against Bishop's Stortford but had to go off injured and Rickelle Christian, also 18, a right back who figured against Welwyn Garden City and Hertford Town.

The other signings are Joseph Owusu Tabiri, a central midfielder, Ryan Mattos, a striker with 46 goals in two league seasons for Barnet U18s, Dean Mason, a midfielder. All are 18-year-olds and goalkeeper Philip Carpenter who played against Spurs U18 is 17.
