Barnet Boy Gets A Chance

Paul Fairclough is hoping that local boy makes good when he gives 18-year-old Danny Hart the chance to play alongside the Barnet first teamers at Northwood on Saturday.Hart, who lives near Underhill in Mays Lane, is a right sided midfielder who has played for Boreham Wood.
The manager also drafts in 27-year-old striker Ben Wright after receiving clearance from IK Start, the Norwegian side he played with. The search for goals also gives Rory May, the 6ft 4ins tall goalscorer from Solihull Borough, who played at Bishop's Stortford on Tuesday, a second game.
A fourth trialist is 22-year-old Nathan Koobooth, a defender who has had experience with MK Dons and Kettering Town.
Goalkeeper Rob Beckwith, the 22-year-old 6ft 2ins tall former Luton Town player who played against Crystal Palace last weekend, will also feature.
All of the Barnet squad, with the exception of Lee Harrison, Giuliano Grazioli and Joe Devera, will be at Northwood for what, as reported on www.barnetfc.com yesterday, is a first team fixture.
Assistant manager Ian Hendon will be in charge as Fairclough is attending his daughter Laura's wedding to lifelong Bees supporter Jonathan Venneear. They first saw each other at a manager's Question and Answer session at Underhill and first spoke at a Barnet friendly at St Albans City.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that score flashes from Northwood will be sent to the father of the bride and the bridegroom.
