Mikkel Andersen, a 19-year-old Danish goalkeeper from Premiership club Reading who has joined Barnet on a work experience deal, will make his debut in the pre-season friendly at Bishop's Stortford on Tuesday.

Reading have given permission for the young Dane to figure in a couple of the Bees' remaining pre-season games to give manager Paul Fairclough the chance to have a look at him. Fairclough said that young Tim Trebbs, an unused susbstitute against Crystal Palace on Saturday, would also figure in the game in the continued absence of 35-year-old No 1 choice Lee Harrison, who has been out since the opening game against Arsenal with a hamstring injury.

The manager is also bringing in a trialist striker .... Rory May, whose last club was Solihull Borough. He scored 25 goals, 19 in the league, last season
