Barnet Ladies 2005-06

Barnet FC Ladies wound up a celebratory weekend for the club by beating Northampton 4-1 in their League Cup final and achieving the treble.

The League-Cup winners were without ace goalscorer Stacey Sowden, in Sweden with the England under-21 side that drew 0-0, and fell behind in the first half. Goals from Beth Curtis, two, Leanne Small and Ashley Hatton put them back in the driving seat by the interval and they won in comfortable style.

In the event, Sowden was on the bench for England and might as well have been with her team-mates celebrating the end to a fabulous season of success.
