The prolific Barnet Ladies striker Stacey Sowden, 21 goals in 16 games in the season just ended, is the first to score more than 100 goals for the team wearing a Barnet shirt .... 110 to date.

Stacey, who won the same accolade last year, received her award as first team top goalscorer at a successful ladies' award dinner  held in the board room at the Durham Suite on Friday. After promotion last season as champions, league and county cup winners, Barnet Ladies finished fourth in their first campaign back in the FA Premier League (Southern Division), while the reserves were second in the FA Premier League Reserve Division.

Director Graham Slyper, ladies' representative on  Barnet Sports Development Ltd, represented Barnet FC at the dinner. The other awards went to:-

Printers G W Chapman  have confirmed that their sponsorship of the Barnet Ladies team with continue for 2007/2008. Lawrie Martin, of Chapman's, who have been their main sponsors for many years, was a guest of the Ladies at their Awards night on Friday when he announced this new commitment, which had been agreed with Barnet director Graham Slyper that morning.
