Freddie Eastwood scored the fastest goal of the day, after just 1min 13seconds, as Southend overwhelmed Barnet at Underhill.

Barnet had goalkeeper Ross Flitney to thank for preventing a cricket score as Southend carved out a succession of chances.

"It's unlikely we are going to win the FA Cup but we want to have a decent run," said Southend manager Steve Tilson. "Winning is a decent habit to be in."
