FAIRCLOUGH HAILS BAILEY'S STRIKE

Barnet boss Paul Fairclough compared Nicky Bailey's solo effort to one of the most famous Cup goals of all time after his side's 4-2 Carling Cup success over Bristol City.

Bailey beat several City defenders with a mazy dribble before slotting the ball home for the Bees's third goal.

"I can only liken it to Ricky Villa's famous goal for Spurs in the FA Cup final (in 1981)," Fairclough said.

"He went past several defenders and Nicky has done the same.

"We have set out to enjoy ourselves this season and I think that is being reflected in our football.

"We may play with only one up front, but we have so many players capable of getting forward and creating chances."
